In the beginning HelloFresh's vision for healthy meals, responsibly sourced, and conveniently delivered felt straight-forward. Four years later, it's been far more complicated - and successful. From identifying the best farms to partnering with renowned chef Jamie Oliver, HelloFresh has worked tirelessly to innovate and rethink food - all the while listening closely to their customers.
This is how the HelloFresh Free Trial Box was born: A return to their simplistic roots, a rethinking of food, and a product that customers are (puns) hungry for. Customers now have the opportunity to experience a HelloFresh meal for two, for free. The trial includes your choice of a steak or tortellini dinner and some kitchen goodies. The entire box is free!
Although our product is changing lives on a daily basis, it still requires a mindset shift for that first time. The Free Meal Trial will make HelloFresh accessible to everyone.

Boyes echoes HelloFresh's claim that the greatest challenge in their business is getting that first box ordered. Ditching the grocery store for pre-packed recipes sounds great, but many customers hesitate at first. The Free Trial Box should make that decision a no-brainer. Moreover, customers are fully in control of their flexible subscribtion and can pause or cancel anytime, although Boyes jokes "Once you unpack, you never go back!"
